3,770 m² Heat Exchanger for a German engineering

Bachiller has successfully delivered a new 3,770 m² Falling Film Evaporator to a German engineering company specialized in the design and construction of chemical projects and plants.

This piece of equipment is part of a bigger set composed of the heat exchanger, a 42 m³ Centrifugal Separator, a 64 m² Surface Condenser and several Vapour Ducts. All made of 316L Stainless Steel.

The loading process was really exciting due to the high length of the piece of equipment that required the support of an extra crane and exceptional long transport.

Bachiller designs and manufactures all kinds of tailor-made shell and tube heat exchangers, according to the main international mechanical design codes, using the ultimate design software and according to the particular specifications of the client.

The most common applications are aftercoolers, boilers, catalyst reactors, concentrators, condensers, coolers, double sheet exchangers, evaporators NH3, exchangers for liquids – gas, heaters, preheaters, reboilers, reflux condensers, sublimators, vacuum evaporators and vaporizers.

Our construction materials are austenitic stainless steels, super austenitic stainless steels, duplex and super duplex stainless steels, nickel alloys and superalloys, titanium and cladding.

2.000L Horizontal Vacuum Paddle Dryer for API production

Delivering a new 2.000L Sanidry, a horizontal vacuum paddle dryer with sanitary design, to an Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients and Fine Chemicals manufacturer in Germany.

The Sanidry vacuum dryer by Bachiller is the ideal industrial dryer to meet customer needs since the products to dry are highly toxic substances. Hygienic equipment is required to comply with GMP standards and ensure operator safety.

The Sanidry, horizontal vacuum paddle dryer, belongs to the group of drum dryers with paddle rotation in their interior. Its sanitary design, with a heating surface maximised in paddles over the shaft and body of the dryer, guarantees the drying of all types of moist, crystalline, amorphous or paste thermo-sensitive products in a vacuum process.

The body, shaft and paddles of the vacuum dryer are fully heated to maximise heat exchange. The tolerances of the vacuum dryer assembly allow the turning of the paddles at very close distances to the wall, for continuous renewal of the product being exchanged.

Delivering: Stirred Reactor in Titanium Gr.7

We are delivering, to a well-known chemical company in the Netherlands, a Gr.7 Titanium reactor of 53 m³ with a three-shaft agitator.

Titanium grade 7 is the most resistant to corrosion of all titanium alloys currently available. This grade is especially suitable for applications that require resistance to general corrosion and resistance to localized corrosion in cracks. It also exhibits good welding and forming characteristics as well as good overall strength.

This unit is ready to operate under vacuum and is equipped with special turbines.

  • Internal coils or even heated baffles.

Lab process equipment for a French aerospace engineering

Lab process equipment for a French aerospace engineeringBachiller signs a new contract for the manufacture of two Bachlab, laboratory vacuum mixers and reactors for liquids and pastes, for a French aerospace engineering.

The process equipment includes the vessels in AISI 316L, coaxial mixing tools, a high shear rotor-stator agitator, the heating/cooling and vacuum systems. The entire loading and unloading process is fully automated and the CIP system is already integrated, facilitating the cleaning and maintenance of the equipment.

The Bachlab laboratory mixer reactor is a robust and reliable machine, characterised by the automatic lifting and turning of the lid for easy access to the interior of the reactor, designed in accordance to the most demanding GMP and EHEDG standards. It includes strict ergonomic criteria that facilitate the work of the operator.

 

This machines will be used for the manufacture of special coatings, which will soon be ploughing through the vastness of outer space. Good trip!
